So funny story ready GO:
So SAM -the turkey- was a little frozen inside when I took him out of the fridge. So never ever doing a turkey i thought it would not be a problem pulling out the neck and gizzards...so yeah i was really wrong. The stubborn turkey would not de-thaw so I used my great brains and got my Blow Dryer to help me out....and you know what it worked!!! 2 1/2 hours later with using the dryer for 30 min. I got the neck out and SAM turned out really good. Grandma Scanlan still has not stopped laughing, and I make homemade gravy too...along with real stuffing. She says I am now ready to get married now that I know how to cook it all now :) o g-ma!
